Open Plan Kitchen Living Room Design

We designed and styled this open plan kitchen living room following major renovation work conducted by DHV Architects.
The house was built c. 1860s and had been renovated approx. 20yrs ago and was now in need of a total update. The style is contemporary with neutral but inviting colours throughout to provide a welcoming feel.
We chose a muted colour palette throughout to create a calm and welcoming feel with the addition of chrome and glass for a contemporary touch.
The bay window is decorated with our Made to Order cushions.
As it's Grade II Listed, maintaining the heritage and restoring original features including the large bay window stone mullions was really important. Another key feature in this room is the ornate original Marble Fireplace. It was only natural to centre the dynamic of the room around this feature.
