Colour and Style Development
Layout, Materials & Key Products
By dividing the rear extension into 4 zones, we were able to create a functional utility area, a cosy TV room, and a spacious kitchen and dining space. The large rear sliding doors provide lovely light whilst the retained square bay window adds a touch of character.
Concept vs. final images
Our concepts included floor layout, suggestions for colour, window treatments, floor finishes and all the other little details that make a house a home. This framework helped the owners keep a clear vision through their renovation and implement the design step by step with their chosen trades.
A real foodies kitchen
The owners love to cook and they wanted their kitchen to be tailored to their needs with the addition of a coffee area and small but super functional pantry. The pantry space was carved out in the continuation of the utility room and fitted with floor to ceiling shelves to maximise the space.
The generous central island allows for guests to be entertained whilst food is cooking with a large dining table by the sliding doors to sit when dinner is ready.
A strong personal style
We do not always get brief where our clients know what they like. However, in this house, the owners were clear on their vision and their preferred colour. Throughout their home, we find shades of blue and blush pink which create amazing coherence and a distinctive style.
Client's Feedback
"Kirsty and Elke have been great fun to work with. They totally got what I wanted and have given me a simple and inspiring framework to create a lovely home. We renovated almost half the house and they made the design part easy when it came to choosing items like lighting, handles etc…always on the phone if I needed them and they will continue to help me as we steadily complete the house with the right furniture and curtains"
