Creating an Eclectic Home Style
Colours are often seen as difficult to style.
We share our simple tips to create a vibrant look that mixes rich hues and patterns.
Once you've worked out the base colours you want to use, it becomes easy to mix patterns and add accessories. Here we've used Frida Khalo prints in black frames and a bespoke gallery wall using images from our travels in Vietnam.
The space is relatively small so we have opted for the Westerleigh Trunk Set that double up as coffee table and storage. The trunks are neutral so the accessories and chair colours really pop out. The set also has a lovely vintage feel with the faux leather edging that anchors the eclectic look.
We love the modern and exotic vibe of this style, enhanced by the playful Landsdown Lobster Ornament and the Soundwell III Zebra Plate. The key with this style is to make it your own so feel free to add your own favourite chair or musical instruments, after all colours encourage creativity.
