Interior Design

The foundation of your project starts here. We design with your lifestyle in mind, ensuring every detail complements the architecture of your home. If tweaks are needed to optimise the space, we’ll suggest them. Our design service include:

  • Colour Palette: Creating a cohesive scheme for your interiors.
  • 2D Floor Plans: Optimising space and functionality.
  • 3D Visuals: Bringing the design to life with realistic imagery.
  • Curtain, Blinds & Soft Furnishing.
  • Furniture Options: Thoughtfully curated pieces to complement each space.

  • Kitchen Design Details
  • Regular Site Visits

Wondering if Ivywell Interiors is the right fit for your project?

Choosing an interior designer is a big decision — and not just because of the design. We’ll be working closely together, in regular communication and making some big decisions about your home. It’s important you feel like we’re on your side (because we are).

Here’s what it’s like working with us, and answers to a few things people often want to know before they get in touch:

Absolutely. Many of our clients come to us when they have an outline architectural plan — and that’s an ideal time to get us involved. We can help you shape the interiors alongside finalising your plans, and suggest tweaks where needed to make sure the layout works for real life. This joined-up thinking often helps avoid costly changes later on and ensures your space flows beautifully, both practically and visually. Whether you're already working with an architect or just starting out, we’ll fit in wherever you need us.

We do. Whether it’s a single room or a whole house, we’re happy to chat and see if it feels like the right fit.

Every project is a little different - it's a big gap from room refresh to full renovations - so we tailor our fees to suit the scope of your project. Our process always starts with an informal discovery call where we chat through your space, goals and timeline or arrange a visit if we need to take a closer look at the space before sending you a personalised quote.

It depends on the scope and complexity of your project, but typically we spend 3–4 weeks on the initial concept and design brief, then another 4–5 weeks creating detailed designs for each room. We always share a clear timeline before starting so you know what to expect.

When we quote for design fees, we also include an estimate for Implementation Support. This can mean anything from checking in with your builder during the project, to coordinating trades and managing the whole thing for you. It's there as an option if you need support later down the line and usually evolves as the project progresses.

For a single room like a living room, we usually recommend a day of support. For larger renovation or extension projects, we typically suggest a minimum of 3–5 days, depending on your scope and how hands-on (or hands-off) you'd like to be.

Yes - we have a trusted network of local professionals we work with regularly, from contractors, cabinet-makers to decorators and curtain-makers. We’re also happy to collaborate with your existing team. While we don’t manage the build, we do offer support throughout and can liaise with whoever’s on site to make sure things go smoothly.

Yes — while we’re based in Bristol and love working locally, we also support clients remotely, especially those relocating to the area. We’ve designed and delivered homes for clients moving from London, Hong Kong, France — even Tanzania. If you're planning a move to Bristol and want help getting everything just right, we’d be happy to chat about what support might work best for you in a discovery call.
