New Build Architect Home
Cotham

An example of a small space making a big impact

The way Kirsty produces a shortlist of hand picked pieces that all work so well within my home is invaluable. It really takes the headache out of trawling through countless websites, magazines etc to work out what looks best in the space or the style I'm after. If you don't have a clue what you want, and want some expert ideas to fill your space with some beautiful furnishings that you love and compliment the surrounds, or, just want someone to bounce ideas around with and make some suggestions, these guys will exceed your expectations.

A Minimalist and Inviting Scandinavian-inspired Design

This bright and modern house situated in Bristol’s Cotham and Redland conservation area showcases a beautifully curated Scandinavian-inspired interior.

An architect-designed home with an inverted layout

Designed by DHV Architects, the home was originally a garage with a small plot of land. The architect created an inverted play to maximise the light and views to the living areas (upstairs) and create two comfortable bedrooms (downstairs). An oversized glazing panel is the main feature of the living area, providing a dramatic background for the dining area.

Interiors to complement the architecture

The client had a vision of Scandinavian simplicity and modern aesthetics for the space but was struggling to find pieces to pull it all together. Ivywell Interiors developed a cohesive design scheme tailored to complement the home’s striking architectural features. We took the headache away by shortlisting and sourcing hand-picked pieces we knew would complement the desired minimalist yet inviting look. The design highlights neutral tones and clean lines, creating a serene and airy living space that perfectly balances comfort and functionality.
